TRAINERS

Nik Paddison - Senior trainer
Nik is a full time independent freelance trainer / writer / consultant / copy editor in the European youth field. He has a background as a youth worker from the UK. Nik specialises in the training of youth workers and trainers. He also works on Human Rights, peace building, work with Roma young people, refugee issues, and developments in non-formal learning - developing educational games, activities, and theories. These days he is living by the sea in Montenegro and trying to live a more Mediterranean lifestyle, but that North European mentality keeps getting in the way! Having long breakfasts with a book in the sun, growing herbs (the legal variety) and playing board games are his main hobbies when at home. Valentina Trebbi - Junior trainer
I started discovering Erasmus+ world in 2012, participating in Youth Exchanges with the program Youth in Action, thanks to the association of social promotion which I'm part of, "La Fenice". From the following year I became group leader of this projects, so I could improve my skills and competences in different topics: active citizenship, Europe, gender equality and so on. I had my fist experience as a trainer with YEU (Youth for Exchange and Understanding) last year, when I had the chance to participate to the annual Convention as facilitator, and now I am part of PET (People for Education and Training), which allows me to implement periodically my knowledge.

Day 2: Diving deep below the surface of youth work

The second day of the training course has arrived together with the new snow. Kirsty from UK liked very much the discussion about these challenges, because she could see different approaches from different organisations dealing with same challenges. Many of the representatives from different European countries were focusing a lot on international cooperation when doing the activities and her work consists mostly of local projects and

The sessions have finally started! The participants are eager to see what follows in the next 7 days and the trainers are excited to share with them a very valuable piece of knowledge and experience. On this blog we are going to follow the development and the learning process of the participants by asking them to share with the world what was the most important thing which they learned and experienced. Day by day, we will introduce you with different participants. To start, for the first day we have the youngest participant - Mića Mišljenović who is coming from Serbia.
